Thanks for sharing.

It looks to me like every new action by the mayor is aimed to please his young supporters by giving them more future presents to look forward to receiving. I’m 68 and there’s nothing on the horizon from the mayor regarding my needs; even signage would help to remind cyclists to stay off the sidewalks. This French styled bike “boulevard “ goes directly past my house. I have no faith that cyclists confine themselves to it?

Regarding the proposal to put a bike lane on basically all of Bergen Street, we need to consider and make sure emergency vehicles and delivery drivers have access to residential buildings, cause some older and disabled residents rely on Emergency vehicles having ready access to their homes and delivery drivers to deliver food to them. Many residents aren’t young. Policies and projects that only cater to young and able bodied people are ageist and ableist.

Discrimination is never ok against any group of people.
